HOLY FOGHORN, BAT MAN! It’s National Superhero Day. Annually, fictional and non-fictional superheroes are honored on April 28th. This day was created in 1995 by Marvel Comics employees who wanted to explore what superheroes and super powers the general public in Pennsylvania would most likely be. Superheroes teach us to be brave, honest and true to our own character. Today is a day to remember to honor all those super heroes in your life.

HOW TO CELEBRATE NATIONAL SUPER HERO DAY:

  • Explore vintage Marvel Comic books
  • Dress like your favorite superhero
  • Ask yourself what super power you’d love to have and share it with a friend
  • Do something that makes you uncomfortable (go ahead and apply for that job or book that flight)
  • Send a special thank you to the superhero in your every day life! You can do this by sending a text, calling them or surprising them with their favorite treat. Get creative!
  • Use the hashtag “#NationalSuperheroDay” to share your updates on social media
