Join us for a class exploring the art of hand knotting your own prayer mala.

A Mala is a necklace or bracelet that helps you meditate or focus your energy on a specific intention.  Each bracelet is strung with 108 different gemstones, each having different meanings. 108 represents the number of wholeness and also connects the Sun, Moon and the Earth. In this class each person will have a gemstone beaded mala of their own to set with their own intentions and will learn how to knot and complete so they have a beautiful mala to take home!

TEACHER: Rebecca Huggins is a local Georgetown business owner and mom of many. She has been working and exploring the art and science of crystal energy and healing properties over the past year and through the process of healing her own body she discovered a love for mala-tying. Each mala she creates is hand tied with an intention and sealed with a prayer for well being and growth.
