Ayurveda translates to life science. It focuses on treating the person and not the symptoms. I am here to help you find the elementals that work for your constitution and to advocate for your personal wellness. Through consultation and bodywork, together we will get your body back on track to optimal health.
I have always been drawn to a more simplistic way of healing and understanding the body. I was raised by two parents who had a very salt of the earth’s way of life and I have carried that with me through my education and passion. I have been a massage therapist for over 13 years, an Herbalist for 8 years, and now newly an Ayurvedic Practitioner on my way to becoming an Ayurvedic Doctor. Through taking my health into my own hands I see how simple it can be to make drastic changes in one’s life. I live to educate people into a position of empowerment about their own bodies and health.
Herban Veda offers traditional teachings of Ayurveda with a focus on Dravyaguna(qualities in relation to herbs), PanchaKarma (5 actions of restorative therapy), and Rasayana (rejuvenation therapy) practices with a combination of Western Herbalism and native plants. Herba Veda is a tool to bring that knowledge forward through bodywork, council, and ethical wild-crafted and home-grown offerings.
