Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy is a type of health care that helps to solve the problems that interfere with a person’s ability to perform everyday tasks

Specific exercises and strategies are used to recover the daily living and working skills of people with physical injuries or conditions. Activities and exercises can help older adults adapt to changes in their:

Physical and mental abilities

Self-care abilities- getting dressed, eating, moving around the house,

Productivity – going to work or school, participating in the community, and

Leisure activities – sports, gardening, social activities.

Occupational Therapists are also trained in hand and shoulder fine and gross motor strength and functionality.
